What do you like to do when you travel?
Are you an adrenaline junkie or do you hunt out culture? Do you methodically tick off the top ten places to visit or do you flop in your hostel and socialise around the bar?
We all enjoy different things and we all have different priorities. Personal recommendations from other travellers who have recently visited a town or a region are worth their weight in gold, as is the local knowledge from hostel or hotel staff.
In this section you will find some suggestions about where to go and what to see, all bound up in a narrative and a story from some of the places that I have visited.
