Day 3:
Today you have a choice. You can cycle a section of the 130km Green Trail or go hiking into the mountains surrounding the village.
1) The Green Way follows the route of an old railway line through the stunning Catalan countryside. We will stop for a picnic lunch and visit the hot springs at Font Calda. The route is mainly downhill and offers some spectacular photographic opportunities.
2) or if you prefer, our guide will take us into the beautiful Catalan countryside. This 4 to 6 hour hike can be tailored to suit your walking ability and will include a picnic lunch. We may walk along the river or high up in the mountains. Whatever route we follow, you are guaranteed stunning views in some secluded spots.

Why should you choose my tours?
I have been travelling for more than three years – and for most of that time I have been travelling solo. Following a series of life changing events, I took a leap of faith and I decided to follow my dreams. I quit my job, I gave up my apartment and I booked a flight to a different continent.
At every turn I have met some amazing people and each morning when I wake I feel blessed that I found the courage to hurtle out of my comfort zone. I have spent a year in South America, time in Europe and I have recently returned from nine months in South East Asia.
I was often asked if I would take other people along with me on my trips, and that is how the idea of the Catalan Adventure came about.
I LOVE travelling alone but it was difficult in the beginning because I was so nervous. I know that there are many people out there who don’t want to go away with a group of strangers on an organised tour. or travelling solo. Planning a holiday alone can be quite daunting and it is nice to have somebody with whom you can share the responsibilities and the fun; but if your friends are unable to go along with you what are the options?
Don’t let the fear of travel stop you from discovering new places. The Catalan Adventure gives you the opportunity to explore a region with a personal guide. Travel with me and I am sure that by the time we come to say goodbye at the end of your trip you will be bolder and more inclined to travel again, perhaps even solo the next time.
So with these potential problems in mind I want to invite you on your Catalan Adventure and join me in Spain.
You will be accompanied at all times by me, Jane Clements from Scarlet Jones Travels or my colleague who has been living in this region for more than ten years.
